Agro-Ecosystem Health(AESH) Cell Unit

Cell Unit leader Professor Shin-ichiro Kawazu

The objective of this research unit is the establishment of an agro-ecosystem health course. Agro-ecosystem health derives from a combination of biophysical and socioeconomic conditions that jointly influence such properties as productivity, sustainability, stability, and equitability. This interdisciplinary course will train students in applying laboratory and classroom-acquired skills to real-life problems in the field so that students can gain an overall perspective of the various linkages involved in problem solving and development.
