Major research interests
Molecular Parasitology in Tropical Medicine, Current research activities are focused on:
- Studies on appropriate technology development and transfer for malaria control. Collaborative research in Philippines on an appropriate technology development for diagnosis of the drug-resistant malaria.
- Development of serological and molecular diagnosis methods (Malaria, Theileriosis and Shistosomiasis).
- Development and application of genetically modified parasite for investigation of host-parasite relationship (Plasmodium and Babesia)
